Privacy Policy

What we collect

• When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, shipping address and billing address, plus the items you bought. You enter these on a checkout page hosted by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects your card details directly; we never see or store your full card number.
• When you sign up for email: your email address, whether you enter it in the sign-up box on the site or tick the box on the checkout page asking to hear from us.
• When you browse: a cookie named lg_size remembers the shoe size you pick so the site can show what fits you, and your bag is kept in your browser's local storage. Neither is sent to us or tied to your identity. Local storage also notes the website or app that last sent you to us (for example Google or Instagram); if you place an order, that one word is saved with it so we know how you found us.
• Site analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which record page views and performance in aggregate without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
• When you email us: whatever you include in the message, which we keep to handle your request.

How we use it

• To process your payment, ship your order, send your receipt and tracking, and handle returns or questions.
• To calculate sales tax based on your shipping address.
• To prevent fraud. Stripe screens payments using its Radar service.
• To understand which pages are used so we can improve the store.
• If you asked to hear from us, to send the occasional email about new arrivals, and a single reminder if you start a checkout and leave before paying. Every one of these emails has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or send marketing email unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

• Stripe processes payments and stores order and payment records under its own privacy policy.
• Shipping carriers receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your order.
• Vercel hosts the website and provides the analytics described above.
• Resend delivers our shipping notices and any email you asked for, and sees the address it goes to.
• Government authorities or courts, only if the law requires it.

Our inventory records note which sizes have sold, but they contain no customer information.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and dispute purposes, which is typically seven years. Emails are kept for as long as needed to resolve the matter. Your address stays on our email list until you unsubscribe. The size cookie lasts one year; your bag stays in your browser until you clear it.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email lockergoodsapp@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. The unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email takes you off the list at once. You can clear the size cookie and your bag at any time through your browser settings.

Other things worth knowing

• The store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
• The site is served over HTTPS, and payments are handled entirely by Stripe, which is certified to the PCI DSS standard.
• If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
